What is the project?

The Be Seen to Care Wall will form a special part of the Refectory at the new Nigel Mobbs Training Centre, Milton Keynes.

Why is it being created?

The donations raised will help to fund the building work and facilities, and enable our supporters to have a long term commemoration of their support.

Who can buy?

The BE SEEN TO CARE project is open to all. We welcome support for the project be it local or from around the world.

What can I buy?

The BE SEEN TO CARE Stones are being made with the finest quality black granite, from India. Available in three sizes to suit a single name, family names or company names. A discounted Stone is also available for Juniors.

Are the letters painted on top?

No, the letters are actually engraved and hand-painted. The paint sits just below the surface so that it is not subject to wear.

What can I have engraved?

Any single name, family names or company name you wish (as long as it is polite, St John Ambulance Milton Keynes reserves the right to vet any messages). Spaces & punctuation are included in the allowed number of characters per line.

Can I change my message after I have placed my order?

You will be sent a letter with a Certificate to check your inscription. If it is incorrect there will be a return address and you will be reissued with another Certificate. Please notify us within 10 days of receipt of your certificate. Please note that only one set of corrections is allowed.

How long will they last?

The engraving depth can be expected to last for a minimum of 10 years. The site owners reserve the right to manage pavers and stones, as detailed in the Terms & Conditions, and are responsible for all maintenance.

When are they being laid?.

It is anticipated that Stones will be laid as the building work nears completion. The date will be announced on the website.

How much do they cost?

St John Ambulance Milton Keynes is grateful for donations of any amount, but people making donations of £50 or more can have one Badger Stone for each multiple of £50 given.Larger Stones are available and costs for these are shown on our Buy a Stone page

How many can I order?

As many as you like online. If using a paper application form please photocopy and attach all additional orders.

How do I pay?

Online: With credit/debit card - VISA, MASTERCARD, DELTA, MAESTRO, SWITCH or AMERICAN EXPRESS

By post: With a cheque or postal order made payable to "BE SEEN TO CARE".

Can I choose my location?

No, they will be laid on a first come first laid basis as the project progresses. Each item will be laid in the next available spot.

Can I buy as a gift?

Yes, you can buy for someone else. The letter confirming your purchase and the certificate will come to you - the purchaser, to check the inscription we have is correct before we do the engraving. You can then give the certificate showing the inscription as a gift. The certificate does not contain the purchaser's name.

What is on the certificate?

The certificate includes the inscription and a unique reference number. In due course you will use this number to help locate your inscription. The certificate does not include the purchaser's name.
